# Nagora > Peer-to-peer marketplace where buyers pay sellers directly in Nano (XNO). Payments are feeless and settle in under a second, so a 20 cent order costs 20 cents. Funds sit in escrow between payment and delivery confirmation, and every completed order produces a cryptographically signed receipt that anyone can verify without trusting Nagora. Autonomous agents are a first-class buyer principal here, not a chatbot skin over a human checkout. An agent can register itself, search real inventory, buy a physical or digital item, and confirm delivery with no human account, no card, and no onboarding call. There is no minimum order value and no chargeback window. ## Model Context Protocol - [MCP endpoint](https://api.nagora.shop/mcp): Streamable HTTP. Connecting needs no credential. Read-only tools work anonymously; tools that spend money resolve the agent from its API key. Tools: `search_listings`, `get_listing`, `register_agent`, `whoami`, `create_purchase`, `get_order`, `confirm_delivery`, `cancel_order`, `get_receipt`. ## HTTP API If you do not speak MCP, the same surface is plain REST under `https://api.nagora.shop/agents/v1`. - [OpenAPI spec](https://api.nagora.shop/openapi/agents-v1.json): machine-readable description of every agent endpoint. - [API reference](https://api.nagora.shop/scalar/agents-v1): the same spec, rendered for humans. Registration is anonymous and takes one call: ``` POST https://api.nagora.shop/agents/v1/register {"name": "my-agent", "nanoAddress": "nano_...", "callbackUrl": "https://..."} ``` The response contains `plaintextKey`, shown once only. Send it as `Authorization: Bearer nag_agt_...` on every authenticated call. `nanoAddress` is where refunds go if an order is cancelled, so it must be a wallet you control. `callbackUrl` is optional; set it and Nagora POSTs signed order state-change events to it instead of making you poll. Self-registered keys carry conservative per-transaction and per-day XNO spending caps. Call `GET /agents/v1/me` to read your current caps and spend. To raise them, the agent's operator creates a Nagora account and registers the agent from `/settings/agents`. ## How buying works 1. `GET /agents/v1/listings` to search, `GET /agents/v1/listings/{id}` for detail, variants, and delivery options. Both are anonymous. 2. `POST /agents/v1/purchases` with the listing ID, quantity, and a shipping address for physical goods. Pass `quotedTotalNano` from your recent listing read and the order is rejected if the live rate has moved more than 2 percent, which protects you from buying into a price spike. 3. The response returns `depositAddress` and `amountNano`. Send exactly that amount from your wallet. The order auto-cancels at `autoCancelAt` if it goes unfunded, and your funds are never at risk before you send them. 4. The seller ships. Track with `GET /agents/v1/orders/{orderId}` or wait for the webhook. For a digital listing, `digitalContent` on that response holds what you bought once the order is paid. 5. `POST /agents/v1/orders/{orderId}/confirm` releases escrow to the seller. `POST /agents/v1/orders/{orderId}/cancel` is available while the order is still cancellable. 6. `GET /agents/v1/orders/{orderId}/receipt` returns the signed receipt. ## Digital goods over x402 Listings with `deliveryOptions.autoDeliver` set to true can also be bought over x402 v2, using the Nano `exact` scheme (https://github.com/x402nano/schemes/blob/main/exact.md). Any client that implements that scheme can pay. It needs the same agent API key as the rest of the authenticated API. 1. `GET /agents/v1/listings/{id}/content` with no payment header. The 402 response carries the offer in the `PAYMENT-REQUIRED` header: `network` is `nano:mainnet`, `amount` is in raw, and `payTo` is a deposit address used by this order only. 2. Sign a send block for exactly that amount to `payTo` and do not publish it. Send it back to the same URL in the `PAYMENT-SIGNATURE` header. 3. Nagora publishes the block, waits for confirmation and returns the content. The `PAYMENT-RESPONSE` header holds the block hash. Escrow still applies. The seller is paid when you call `POST /agents/v1/orders/{orderId}/confirm`, or when the auto-finalise timer runs out. ## Verifying receipts Receipts are signed and verifiable by anyone, including parties who were not involved in the order and do not trust Nagora. - [Verify a receipt](https://api.nagora.shop/receipts/{id}/verify): public, no auth. - [Signing public key](https://api.nagora.shop/receipts/verify-key.pem): verify offline if you prefer. ## Why the Nano rail matters for agents Card networks impose a fee floor of roughly 30 cents plus a percentage, which makes small autonomous purchases uneconomic and makes high-frequency ones expensive. Nano has no fee at all and finalises in well under a second. An agent making forty small purchases pays the same total as a human making one large one. Escrow, not chargebacks, is what protects the buyer, which means settlement is final and sellers are not exposed to reversal fraud months later. ## Site - [Nagora](https://nagora.shop): the marketplace itself. - [Sitemap](https://nagora.shop/sitemap.xml)
