Welcome to Nagora. Everything you need to know to get started with our Nano-powered marketplace.

What is Nagora?

Nagora is a peer-to-peer marketplace where you can buy and sell items using Nano (XNO) digital cash. Nano offers instant, feeless transactions, making it perfect for online commerce.

Creating your account

Click Register in the top navigation.
Enter your email and create a secure password.
Check your email for a verification code and enter it.
Pick a username and optional profile picture.

Setting up your profile

A complete profile helps build trust with other users. We recommend:

Adding a profile picture.
Writing a brief bio.
Saving a shipping address during your first checkout.

Tip:You'll automatically get a Nano wallet when you create your account. You can find it in the Wallet section of your profile menu.

Creating listings

Create compelling listings that attract buyers and sell your items quickly.

Step-by-step guide

Choose a category.Navigate to "Sell an Item" and select the category that best fits your product. Choose the most specific subcategory for better visibility.
Add product details. Write a clear, descriptive title and detailed description. Include brand, model, condition, dimensions, and any defects or wear.
Upload photos. Add up to 10 high-quality photos. Show the item from multiple angles, and include close-ups of any important details.
Set your price. Choose to price in XNO or your preferred fiat currency (USD, EUR, etc.). Pricing in fiat is recommended - the XNO amount is calculated at the time of sale, protecting you from price fluctuations.
Choose delivery options. Select shipping (with cost), local pickup, or digital delivery. You can offer multiple options.
Review & publish. Review all details, then click Publish. Your listing will be live immediately!

Best practice: Listings with clear photos and detailed descriptions sell 3× faster.

Buying items

Find great deals and make secure purchases with Nano's instant, feeless transactions.

How to buy

Search or browse: Use the search bar or browse categories to find items.
Review the listing: Check photos, description, and seller ratings carefully.
Ask questions: Message the seller if you need more information.
Buy now:Click "Buy Now" and select your delivery preference.
Pay with XNO: Funds are taken from your wallet and held in secure escrow.
Confirm receipt: When you receive the item, confirm delivery.

Important:Always confirm receipt only after you've received and inspected your item. This releases payment to the seller.

Your Nagora wallet lets you store, send, and receive Nano digital cash for marketplace transactions.

What is Nano (XNO)?

Nano is a digital currency designed for everyday transactions. Key benefits:

Depositing XNO

Open Wallet from the user menu.
Copy your wallet address or scan the QR code.
Send XNO from an exchange or external wallet to this address.
Your balance updates instantly when the transaction confirms.

Withdrawing XNO

In the Send card on Wallet, paste the destination Nano address.
Enter the amount (or press MAX) and confirm.
If you've enabled transaction MFA, enter your 6-digit code.

Tip: Always double-check the destination address before sending - Nano transactions cannot be reversed.

Not a wallet service:Nagora is a marketplace, not a digital cash wallet. We recommend only depositing funds you intend to spend on purchases. While your funds are secure, it's always safer to hold your Nano in your own wallet where you control the private keys.

Orders & escrow

Understand how orders work and how our escrow system protects both buyers and sellers.

What is escrow?

Escrow is a secure payment system where funds are held by Nagora until the transaction is complete. This protects buyers (payment only released after receipt) and sellers (guaranteed payment for delivered items).

Order lifecycle

Pending payment
Order created, awaiting buyer's payment confirmation.
Payment received
XNO received and held in escrow, seller notified to ship.
Shipped
Seller has shipped the item, tracking info provided (if applicable).
Delivered
Buyer confirms receipt, escrow releases payment to seller.

For buyers

Your payment is protected until you confirm receipt.
You have 14 days after delivery to report issues.
Open a dispute if the item doesn't match the description.

For sellers

Payment is guaranteed once funds are in escrow.
Ship promptly and always provide tracking - this protects you from false non-delivery claims.
Payment released immediately when the buyer confirms.

Important:Never complete a transaction outside of Nagora's escrow system. We cannot protect you if payment is sent directly to another party.

Messaging

Communicate safely with buyers and sellers through our built-in messaging system.

How to message

Click "Message Seller" on any listing page.
Access all conversations from the Messages icon in the header.
Get notifications for new messages.

Messaging best practices

Ask questions about items before purchasing.
Negotiate prices politely if the seller allows offers.
Keep all communication within Nagora.
Never share personal financial information.
Don't agree to transactions outside the platform.

Warning: Be cautious of users who ask to communicate outside Nagora or request payment through other methods.

Ratings & reviews

Build your reputation and help others by leaving honest reviews after transactions.

How ratings work

After a transaction completes, both buyer and seller can leave a rating (1–5 stars) and written review. Your overall rating is the average of all reviews you've received.

Leaving a review

Go to your completed order.
Click "Leave Review".
Rate 1–5 stars and write your feedback.
Submit - reviews are visible immediately.

Review guidelines

Be honest and fair in your assessment.
Focus on the transaction experience.
Mention communication, shipping speed, and item accuracy.
Don't include personal attacks or inappropriate content.

Tip:Users with higher ratings and more reviews are generally more trustworthy. Check a seller's profile before purchasing.

Disputes

If something goes wrong with a transaction, our dispute resolution system is here to help.

When to open a dispute

Item not received within expected timeframe.
Item significantly different from description.
Item arrived damaged.
Seller not responding to messages.

How to open a dispute

Go to your order details page.
Click "Open Dispute".
Select the reason and provide details.
Upload any supporting evidence (photos, messages).
Submit and wait for our team to review.

Dispute resolution process

Our team reviews all evidence from both parties and makes a fair decision. Possible outcomes:

Full refund to buyer.
Partial refund.
Payment released to seller.

Tip: Try to resolve issues directly with the other party first. Many problems can be solved through communication before opening a dispute.

Two-factor authentication

Add an extra layer of security with authenticator-app verification.

Use a unique password with letters, numbers, and symbols.

Review recent login activity in your security settings.

Two-factor authentication (MFA)

MFA adds an extra layer of security by requiring a code from your authenticator app in addition to your password.

Go to Edit Profile from your profile menu.
Find the Two-factor authentication section and click Enable.
Scan the QR code with your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.).
Enter the verification code to confirm setup.

MFA for wallet protection:Once MFA is enabled, you can toggle on "Require MFA for fund movements" in your security settings. When active, you'll need a verification code for any withdrawals or sending of XNO - so even if someone gains access to your account, they can't transfer your funds without your authenticator.

Security best practices

Enable MFA - this is the single most important step to protect your account and funds.
Use a unique password you don't use elsewhere.
Never share your login credentials or MFA codes with anyone.
Check your login history regularly for suspicious activity.
Log out from shared or public computers.
Keep your email account secure - it's used for password recovery.

Warning: Nagora will never ask for your password or MFA codes via email or message. Report any suspicious requests immediately.

How do I get Nano (XNO)?

You can purchase Nano from exchanges like Binance, Kraken, or KuCoin. Once purchased, withdraw to your Nagora wallet address. Some users also earn Nano through selling items on the marketplace!

Are there any fees?

Nagora charges a small marketplace fee on completed sales to maintain the platform. Nano transactions themselves are completely feeless - you'll never pay transaction fees when sending or receiving XNO.

How long do transactions take?

Nano transactions confirm in under 1 second! Once you send payment, it's received almost instantly. The escrow system then holds the funds until you confirm delivery.

What if I never receive my item?

If your item doesn't arrive within the expected timeframe, open a dispute from your order page. Your payment remains in escrow until the dispute is resolved. We investigate and issue refunds for items not received.

Can I cancel an order?

Orders can be cancelled if the seller hasn't shipped yet. Contact the seller to request cancellation. Once shipped, you'll need to receive the item and potentially open a return if needed.

Why should I use tracking when shipping?

Providing tracking information protects you as a seller. If a buyer claims they never received an item, tracking proof of delivery is your best defence. Without tracking, disputes become difficult to resolve and may result in a refund to the buyer. We strongly recommend always using tracked shipping.

How do I withdraw my earnings?

Go to your Wallet page and enter an external Nano wallet address (from an exchange or personal wallet) and the amount you want to withdraw, then click "Send". The transfer is instant and feeless.

Is my wallet secure?

Yes! Your wallet's private key is encrypted with AWS KMS and stored securely. For maximum protection, enable two-factor authentication in your Edit Profile settings. Once MFA is active, you can also toggle on "Require MFA for fund movements" in your security settings - this requires verification from your authenticator app for any withdrawals or transfers.

What items are prohibited?

We prohibit illegal items, weapons, drugs, counterfeit goods, and items that violate intellectual property rights. Review our Terms of Service for the complete list. Listings violating these policies will be removed and may result in account suspension.
